Contemporary calligraphy, mixed techniques. Works produced regularly as a punctuation of my plastic practice.
In my practice of contemporary calligraphy I am particularly interested in the metamorphosis of the letter. The word makes image: it leaves its verbal essence. As the history of writing is a history of the trace, I am looking for a unity between the written gesture, the word and the body. The trace exists as such, beyond meaning. My steganographies therefore show the experience of an ephemeral trace and a laxity to the unpredictable. This scriptural conception leads me naturally to the techniques of printmaking that are found in other series.
