A entire year of work, and the last few months marked by uncertainties, twists and turns, adjustments and adaptations… And I am very happy to finally announce my new exhibition Ampélonies in the framework of Art & Vin 2020.
Ampélonies is the result of a year-long collaboration-residency with Le Domaine du Bercail where I was able to work alongside the winemaking team, watching, observing, learning, drawing. All the works presented in Ampélonies are therefore original works created especially for Le Bercail.
I produced two types of works: small format colored monotypes and large format drawings in Indian ink. The hanging was thought to allow a journey in the different spaces of the Domain: you will go through the public spaces of the Domain but you will also discover the working spaces and the cellar usually not accessible. And in a corner of the cellar, a little surprise!
