On 21 and 22 September 2024 I presented my new T.ga series in Villeneuve de Marsan as part of the 2024 edition of the Toutes en art! event. This new series is the fruit of a collaboration with Anne Cantin, a textile artist, who gave me an insight into a world I didn’t know: the arts of thread and textile creation.

For these new drawings, I focused on two themes: the hands and arms in the act of weaving, and the shapes of the threads. The textile pieces created by Anne have been meticulously inked to produce precise prints that reflect the finesse of the weaving. The resulting prints were then incorporated into a series of ink drawings: an experience of weaving paper that is both fragmentary and integrated. Other prints were intended to reveal blurrier forms, supporting the imagination of the thread arts.
